Lastly,Pokemon Legends: Z-Awill take players to Lumiose City as the firstPokemongame to take place entirely in one city.
Other Potential 2025 Releases
After rumors and leaks upon morerumors and leaks,Assassin’s Creed: Codename Redhas been a long time coming. Some reports have indicated that it could launch sometime in late 2024, but others have suggested an early 2025 release is also likely to happen.
JudasisBioShockcreator Ken Levine’s first game as head ofGhost Story Games. Bungie’sMarathonis the highly anticipated reboot of its original 1994 first-person shooter, and early reports suggest the game could be released sometime in 2025. Finally,Path of Exile 2is the upcoming sequel to Grinding Gear Games' hit ARPG and currently has a beta scheduled for August 05, 2025, that will last until its full release, either in late 2024 or early 2025.

Nintendo’s Next Console Is Reportedly Arriving in 2025
The biggest news for Nintendo fans is the possibility of the developer releasing its next console in 2025, currently only referred to as the “Switch 2.” The console was originally rumored to launch sometime in late 2024, but more recent reports suggest it could be released in early 2025 instead. The good news is that a 2025Switch 2 release could also meanMetroid Prime 4is finally on the horizon, but that remains to be seen. At the very least, with every game confirmed and the possibility of even more big titles and a new Nintendo console, 2025 already looks like another big year for gaming.
