Summary
Lokiseason 2 fan art shows a Spider-Man variant being brought in by the TVA and crossing paths with Owen Wilson’s Mobis M. Mobius.
Lokiseason2is coming sooner than initially planned, and fans are excited to see what the show has in store for them. Withthe multiverse saga in full swing, fans know that anyone from any universe or timeline can appear in this series. While there are no rumors of major cameos in the series, this fan-made poster shows what it could look like if the TVA arrested one of the many versions of Spider-Man.
The poster made byAGT Designshows Ander Garfield’s Peter Parker talking to Mobius after being arrested by the TVA, with the caption reading, “Do you know why you are here?” Fans loved seeing Garfield and Tobey Maguire return to the role of Spider-Man inNo Way Home. Although fans loved the performances, it wasn’t quite enough for them. Fans started campaigning for Sony to makeSpider-Man 4with Tobey Maguire andThe Amazing Spider-Man 3with Andrew Garfield. Additionally, they have been rumored to appear in multiverse projects likeSecret WarsandDeadpool 3.
What’s great about this concept poster is that it brings in references from multiple Marvel projects. InSpider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,Miguel O’Hara made it clear that he was not a fan of the events that took place duringNo Way Homewhen he said, “Don’t even get me started on Doctor Strange and the little nerd boy from Earth-199999.” If Miguel and his Spider Society had a problem with what happened duringSpider-Man: Now Way Home, it would make sense for the TVA to have issues with it unless it is part of the Sacred Timeline.
It would be cool to see that the TVA has been capturing more variants seen in other recent multiverse projects, similar to the scene inAcross the Spider-Versewith all the different anomalies that the Spider Society captured. Most likely, Marvel will show fans different original variants like Alligator Loki orFrog Thor inLokiseason 1.
AGT Design did a great job with this poster and gave fans an interesting headcanon of events at the TVA. It is unlikely that Marvel Studios would use a big cameo like Garfield for something so small as a Disney Plus series, but as this poster shows it would be cool.
