Apex Legendsrecently released its latest patch notes, and it’s now made private matches available to all players. This was previously exclusive to esports organizations, as well as content creators who wanted to host their ownApex Legendstournaments.

In order to make aprivateApex Legendstournament lobbybefore, players would need to email Respawn and submit details about their tournament. Once it deemed that the event followed EA’s rules on hosting community tournaments, players will be provided a tournament admin code that they can share to participating teams. It’s a difficult process that could take time to be approved, plus it also meant that professional players couldn’t arrange private scrims to practice before their tournaments.
