The setting ofAtomic Heartis a massive, floating facility packed with hostile robots, oppressive surveillance, ferocious monsters, and clever puzzles.Atomic Heartrequires that players use a variety of tactics to overcome the odds. Among those tactics is the seemingly humble telekinetic abilities Agent P-3 brings to the fight.
There are skills that put these abilities to work in combat, but their more utilitarian uses might go unnoticed by most players.There’s a lot to see in Facility 3826, and unlocking all of its secrets requires the use of telekinesis to throw objects precisely where they need to go.

How to Throw Objects
Agent P-3 isn’t himself telekinetic. Instead, he relies on hisever-helpful AI glove, Charles. When P-3 focuses on an object, Charles can manipulate that object telekinetically. To put this skill to use, players need to look at an object that can be picked up such as a teapot, box, fire extinguisher, or Candle and tap the Interact button (RB/R1 or F by default). It doesn’t need to be held down. Charles will snatch the object up, and it’ll float toward P-3’s hand.
Once the object is snagged, P-3 can move around with it. While carrying an object, he can’t jump or interact with other objects. P-3 can throw the object, and some puzzles require throwing an object into position. To throw an object, while it’s being held, press and hold the Interact button and then release it towards the destination. The longer the button is held, the harder the throw will be. It’s easy to fumble this by accidentallyactivating the scanner instead, but it just takes practice.

When to Throw Objects
Agent P-3 needs to throw objects to solve some puzzles, and it can also be a helpful distraction technique for Dandelion cameras. For example, in the screenshot above, there are five Candleholders on the wall above the door. Candles are falling from the ceiling in this room, but there’s no way to reach the holders. Agent P-3 needs to pick up the Candles and throw them into the holders. It’s best to aim well above the holders in this situation because there’s an arc to the trajectory that isn’t generous. It takes some getting used to. It’s a shame there aren’t skills or improvements for telekinesis, but there aregreat skills for everything else.
It’s also possible to damage enemies with thrown objects. It isn’t very effective, but it’s fun. There’s an obscure achievement/trophy called “Bull’s Eye!” for using telekinesis to throw any object at an Owl and knock it down. The Owl is the smaller, frantic copter that fires rockets. Good luck!
