Playerswill find many Testing Groundswhile exploring the open world ofAtomic Heart.These areas are the abandoned laboratories of Facility 3826. They act as mini-dungeons to explore andfind new crafting recipesto Upgrade P-3’s arsenal.
Each Testing Ground contains bronze, silver, and gold loot chests that hold these unique recipes. Check the map to view the loot that is in a testing ground. Testing Ground 2 is located in the northern half of the map. The area surrounding it is filled with tough enemies, so be careful when approaching it or save this location for later when P-3 is stronger.

Open Testing Ground 2
The entrance to Testing Ground 2 will be locked when players find it. Head south from the building and ascend the nearby spiral staircase.
Activate the terminal at the topto take control of cameras in the area.
Find the right camera and use RB/R1 to open the door. Enter the building, save, and take the elevator to enter Testing Ground 2. There will be a hall with a few weak enemies to fight before entering the first puzzle.
Puzzle #1
Usethe Shok glove abilityto zap the magnets through the window. This will let players run through the rotating platform. Wait for the red fencing, then dash through the hole at the end.
Use the red crank to twist the platform at the end of the room. Stop when the shelf with an arrow is on top. Return to the beginning of the room and zap the magnets.
Turn the crank there. This will rotate the shelf and leave a clear path to the exit. Repeat the steps to jump through the rotating platform and leave the puzzle room.
There is a save roomon the left and a bronze chest on the right. Loot it to acquire the PM-Electromagnetic Polarizer Recipe.

Puzzle #2
Turn off the laser grid and continue to the second puzzle room. The exit is a small vent on the other side of the room.
Move to the right and get on top of the red magnet strips along the wall.
Shok the magnets on the ceiling to shift the walls with yellow ledges down.
P-3 can jump and hang on these ledges. Maneuver across the room. Turn and jump if there are no ledges to grab. Hop to the hanging magnet platform.
Jump all the way to the yellow ledges. Use the B/Circle button dash mid-jump to increase jumping distance. Shok the ceiling magnets to lower the platform.
Jump up the fencing and hit the red button to activate the staircase. Drop to the floor, then climb these stairs.
Jump to the platform.Shok the magnets againto shift the platform downward.
Now use these ledges to shimmy across the room.
Jump to the blue platform, then over to the sliding raised magnet floor.
Shok the magnets so the floor slides P-3 to the vent exit. A new save room is straight ahead of the exit, and the silver chest is in the room to the right.

Puzzle #3
Head towards the vent exit from the previous room and shift the magnet wall to reveal the entrance to the next room.
Drop and shift the magnet wall to climb the blue magnet platform on the right wall.
Shok the ceiling to lower the platform.
Jump across the wall dividing the room in half, and get in between the blue magnet strips against the fencing.
Continue around the fence and jump to each platform while using Shok on the ceiling to lower/raise the platforms as needed.
Raise the final blue platform next to the exit cage and drop to the exit. The last room will have an elevator straight ahead, a save room on the right, and the gold chest room on the left.
Open the chest toreceive the Kalash-Thermal Scopeand Snowball-Polymeric Alloy Aerodynamic Attachment Recipes. Use the elevator to return to the surface and complete Testing Ground 2.
