Developer Beat Games has released the latest music pack for its hit VR rhythm gameBeat Saber, this time featuring 10 songs from singer and producer The Weeknd. This latest music pack comes in an update-heavy year for the aging VR title, which has already seen several high-profile DLC releases andnew block types added toBeat Saberin 2022.
First released in 2018,Beat Saberis a VR rhythm game developed by Beat Games and available for PC VR, PSVR, and Meta Quest headsets. Featuring a catalog of original music, with tracks from several well-known artists available to purchase as paid DLC,Beat Saberhas served as an entry point to VR for many gamers in recent years. The simple-to-learn but hard-to-master gameplay made the unique rhythm title one of the first hit games for consumer VR headsets, with Beat Games announcing in early 2022 thatBeat Sabersold over 4 million copies. A steady stream of new music, and the ability to mod the game to add new music and features, have helpedBeat Saberremain one of the most iconic VR titles on the market.

The Weeknd music pack features 10 hit songs from the singer and producer, which can be purchased either individually for $2 a piece or as a $13 bundle. Fans of The Weeknd are likely to find some of their favorite songs among the included tracks, which feature “Blinding Lights” and “Save Your Tears” among others. The Weeknd music pack also includes a new custom environment for the game, as well as unique visuals meant to complement the songs. The Weeknd music pack is available forBeat Saberowners using PC VR, PSVR, andMeta Quest headsets.
Thanks in part to a steady stream of post-launch content,Beat Saberhas managed to maintain its place as one of the most recognizable and successful VR titles on the marketplace.
