Updated June 28, 2025 by Usama Ali:Rings can make all the difference when it comes to facing tough challenges in Stardew Valley. Whether you’re battling fearsome monsters in the Mines or exploring the depths of the Skull Cavern, the right ring can provide the edge you need to succeed. We’ve updated this guide with a few more Rings that Stardew Valley players shouldn’t miss out on.
19Lucky Ring
Increases Player Luck
Although theLucky Ringmay look combat-oriented, it couldn’t be further from the truth. This wicked-looking gold ring will increase the player’s luck by +1. It can stack with itself, which means wearing two Luck Rings will increase the player’s overall luck by 2.
Luck is an in-game stat that can influence a lot in the player’s day-to-day life. Although it’s not directly explained to the player, luck can impact the types of items players find, including fish and geodes. This can be a great ring for those going mining since it can increase the chances of finding a ladder quickly as well as affecting the treasure players find. It will also impact everyday things like how much produce comes from a single crop, the amount of items dropped from destroying trees and rocks, as well as the chances of getting a rabbit’s foot from farm animals.

How To Get The Lucky Ring In Stardew Valley
Aptly, the Lucky Ring can only be found by chance. There are a few ways to find it, namely in the mines - either Skull Cavern or The Quarry Mine. It can also be found when panning, which can be unlocked when the boulder near the mines is removed. Willy will then teach the farmer how to pan.
18Amethyst Ring
Knockback Buff
TheAmethyst Ringis a classic choice for those who spend a lot of time in the mines and maybe don’t want to spend all their time fighting. This bright purple ring increases knockback by 10%.
Knockback is how far an enemy gets thrown when the player hits them with their weapons. Certain weapons have knockback stats, which will stack with the Amethyst ring - meaning players can bat away enemies pretty easily. This is a great tactic if they’re looking to run away and escape to the next floor, or if there’s suddenly a swarm of enemies out of nowhere. This will allow players to focus on enemies one by one and buy themselves some thinking time.

How To Get The Amethyst Ring In Stardew Valley
The Amethyst Ring is an easy ring to get ahold of. After discovering the Adventurer’s Guild and completing the “Initiation Quest,” players will be able to purchase it from Marlon and Gil for 1,000g.
17Sturdy Ring
Halves Negative Status Effects
TheSturdy Ringis another relatively easy ring for players to get their hands on. It’s one of the more commonly used rings with a great buff for those who spend a lot of time fighting monsters.
This lovely little diamond ring will cut the duration of debuffs by half. This means slimes that slow players down will be half as effective and can be the difference between life and death. This ring does not stack with itself, so players only ever need to wear one Sturdy Ring at a time.

How To Get The Sturdy Ring In Stardew Valley
The Sturdy Ring can be crafted after players have reached Combat Level 1, making it a standard and easy-to-obtain ring.
16Ruby Ring
Increases Attack by 10%
The Ruby Ring is a powerful accessory that increases your attack power by 10%. With increased damage, you can defeat enemies more quickly, allowing you to progress through the dungeons faster. Interestingly, equipping multiple Ruby Rings stacks their effects, so wearing two Ruby Rings will increase your attack by 20%.
How To Get the Ruby Ring in Stardew Valley
There are a few different ways to get the Ruby Ring:
15Protection Ring
Increases Vulnerability Time
TheProtection Ringis a huge bonus for those who spend a lot of time in the mines, particularly if a player is running low on food. This little ring can be found in the Volcano Dungeon and will increase a player’s invulnerability after taking damage.
For those unfamiliar, after taking damage from a monster, there’s a brief time when the player character can’t take any additional damage - which prevents the farmer from being completely swamped in a fight with multiple monsters. This ring will extend that vulnerability for up to 1.4 seconds, which can be the difference between life and death. This ring also stacks, meaning that wearing two can double the player’s invulnerability time.

How To Get The Protection Ring In Stardew Valley
There’s a 1/7 chance this ring will be found in a common chest in the Volcano Dungeon, making it one of the easier rings to stumble across in the game.
14Magnet Ring
Pulls Resources Towards Farmer
TheMagnet Ringis one of the few rings that are useful outside the mines and will make the farmer’s life infinitely easier. This little ring will increase the player’s magnetic ability by two tiles, meaning that standing near any collectible resources will instantly pull them into their inventory.
This can save players a lot of time, especially when chopping down trees or breaking apart stones. Not having to run around collecting resources makes life surprisingly easier, and after wearing it for a while, players will forget how they ever lived without it.

How To Get the Magnet Ring In Stardew Valley
The Magnet Ring can be found in both The Mines and Skull Cavern. For the former, between floors past floor 40, and the latter, between floors 1 and 39. It can be dropped by monsters or found in crates/barrels that are destroyed on the respective floors.
13Savage Ring
Adds A Temporary Speed Buff
The Savage ring is a valuable accessory that transforms players into a whirlwind of destruction. When worn, it gives the player a short speed boost whenever they slay a monster. This effect, aptly called “Adrenaline Rush,” lasts for 3 seconds and stacks with other Speed buffs. However, equipping two Savage Rings does not provide additional benefits.
The Savage Ring can be helpful for quickly eliminating enemies in the Mines or Skull Cavern and escaping dangerous situations.

How To Get the Savage Ring in Stardew Valley
The main way to get the Savage Ring is by completing the Monster Eradication goal of defeating 150 Void Spirits (Shadow Shaman or Shadow Brute). On completing this goal, Gil at theAdventurer’s Guildrewards players with the Savage Ring.
After the goal is achieved, the Savage Ring can be purchased from Marlon at the Adventurer’s Guild for 25,000 gold.

12Soul Sapper Ring
Restore Energy
TheSoul Sapper Ringis huge for players who want to spend all day in the mines and save their meals for restoring health rather than energy. This shiny green ring restores +4 energy to the farmer every time they kill a monster, which can keep them going in the mines for hours.
This can be especially useful for those who want to spend the morning in the mine and then tend to their farm in the evening, as it’ll keep energy replenished and avoid wasting single-use resources like food and crops. It also frees up inventory space so players can obtain the maximum amount of loot.

How To Get The Soul Sapper Ring In Stardew Valley
The Soul Sapper Ring can be found in a chest in the Volcano Dungeon on Ginger Island. There’s a 1 in 7 chance of it spawning in a common chest, making it easier to obtain than a few other rings - although, it is not purchasable or craftable like a few others.
11Ring Of Yoba
Protection From Damage
Players who spend a lot of time engaging in Combat in Stardew Valley should consider seeking out theRing of Yoba. This item can help keep players alive, especially when surrounded by enemies. In some of the harder levels of each dungeon, players will likely take damage from the swarms of enemies present.
The Ring of Yoba helps to mitigate that damage entirely by sometimes applying the Yoba’s Blessing buff after a player takes damage. This buff lasts for five seconds and basically makes the player invincible during that time frame. The lower a player’s health, the more likely they’ll receive the buff.

How To Get The Ring of Yoba In Stardew Valley
The Ring of Yoba can be crafted upon reaching Combat Level 7. To craft a Ring of Yoba, players need 5x Iron Bars, 5x Gold Bars, and 1 Diamond. A Ring of Yoba sells for approximately 750g.
10Immunity Band
Increases Immunity by +4
As the name suggests, theImmunity Bandincreases the player’s immunity stat by 4 points. This reduces the chance of being afflicted with debuffs like Darkness, Burnt, Jinxed, Nauseated, Slimed, Weakness, or Tipsy.
With increased Immunity, players will be less likely to suffer from the negative effects of these debuffs. This can be a lifesaver in challenging dungeons and enemy fights. Equipping a second Immunity Band stacks its effects, further reducing the farmer’s vulnerability to debuffs.
How To Get the Immunity Band in Stardew Valley
The Immunity Band can be found on floors 100 and above in the Mines (13% chance), and often in the Skull Cavern and Quarry Mine (8% chance).
It’s a rare drop, and players will need to break a bunch of crates and barrels or slay monsters before they can find it. Unfortunately, the Immunity Band is not available for purchase at the Adventurer’s Guild.
