Unlike other MMOs,Blessed Unleashedisn’t all about combatsince players can also go fishing, but to master the art of fishing, players will need to know everything there is to it.
How To Start Fishing
Before players can start fishing, they’ll need to interact with aShabiki Spottedfin Pullernear one of the bridges leading to Carzacor (see image). The Shabiki Spottedfin Puller will give player’s a string of side quests that’ll end with them having all the necessary tools to fish.
The Shabiki Who Loves Fishing
First players must head to theFishing Tool Merchantlocated near theSoul Pyre, not too far from the Shabiki Spottedfin Puller. The Fishing Tool Merchant will give players a brief explanation of all the tools needed to start fishing.
Impossible For A Shabiki
After a short explanation, the Fishing Tool Merchant will give the players aCommon Fishing Rod,Wooden Sperios Reel, andAnimal Tendons.
Nothing Is Free
Players will now need to purchase10 Small Wormsfor 200 Gold each from the Fishing Tool Merchant. If players need more Gold, they can hunt down some nearby Baby Ribus Turtle and sell their drops (something all new players will have to do frequently).
The Best Fishing Spot
Players should head back to the Shabiki Spottedfin Puller and follow them to a fishing spot. This is whenBlessed Unleashedwill teach players how to fish through a fishing tutorial. After this point, players can either complete the rest of the Shabiki Spottedfin Puller side quests or skip them and start fishing.
Fishing Mechanics Explained
To start fishing, players will need to approach any body of water. Once near the body of water, players must cast the fishing line near or within thelight blue areas of the water. How far a player casts the fishing line depends on when they release the line; the higher the percentage the farther it’ll go.
Upon successfully casting the fishing line players will notice a spinning circle, which simply means that no fish has taken the bait.

Once a fish starts to nibble on the bait the circle will begin to flash butonly until the circle turns greenshould players start to reel in the fish.
The icon will turn into a fish and begin toflash green, at which point players shouldhold down the reel button. But, as soon as the icon changes into ared exclamation mark, players shouldstop pressing the reel buttonand wait until it changes back into a fish. After catching the fish (or item), the icon will change into agreen checkmark.

Players should also keep in mind that larger fish (or dented chests) may require the player to move the line in a specific direction. As for fishing equipment, players will gain access to new tools as they level up (player level and fishing level). The better the fishing tools, the better fish players can obtain.
Fish Usage
Fishing is a great way ofleveling up fastinBlessed Unleashedsince it’s an easy and cheap method of farming experience points. But, players can also use the Fish they catch for crafting food recipes that grant buffs or salvage the fish and sell the crafting items obtained. Players can prepare a fish recipe by interacting with a Soul Pyre and selecting Cook. The number of fish recipes depends on a player’s Cooking Level, so new players may not have too many options at first.
Also at the Soul Pyre, players can salvage a fish to obtain crafting materials. These crafting materials can be sold for a decent amount of in-game currency orcan be used to upgrade certain equipment, like armor or weapons.
