Call of Dutyhas never shied away from controversial topics, which has seen it face censorship in any other instances as well. The most recent example of this is when theRussian PlayStation Store decided not to sellCall of Duty: Modern Warfare, due to some of the content found in that game’s single player campaign. Prior to that, Russia also bannedCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, likely due to the controversial No Russian mission.

After all, the new game is dealing with theCold War era, and there are plenty of controversial events that happened during that time. It wouldn’t be the first time that aCall of Dutygame has been censored, and it almost certainly won’t be the last.
If anything is censored in the game, it will likely be in the campaign. However, there will likely be a lot more toBlack Ops Cold Warthan just its campaign.
