There’s a lot happening in theCall of Dutysphere right now. Fans are anxiously waiting for news about 2020’s upcoming title andCall of Duty: Warzone’smysterious bunkers are finally open. And that’s just right now. In two weeks,Season 4 of the game’spost-launch contentwill be hitting and now fans have a chance to get their first look at the new operator coming to the game: the legendary and iconic Captain Price.

The news comes the way of a marketing email sent by Activision, which links to an unlisted YouTube video on Call of Duty’s official website.

While the video doesn’t explicitly state the fact that Captain Price will be the next operator inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare, it does heavily imply it. The video features Al-Asad (the villain from the game’s post-campaign story and a reimagining of a character fromCall of Duty 4) and an unknown soldier talking about a new fighter coming to Verdansk and that he’s going to be a problem, all while showing a picture of a soldier wearing Captain Price’s iconic bucket hat.

For those that don’t know,Captain Price is one of the main charactersfeatured in theCall of Duty: Modern Warfare’s campaign mode. While players never get to take control of him, he helps lead you on missions and is one of the main narrative driving-points throughout the game’s story. His role throughout the campaign cannot be understated and is probably the closest thing the game has to a singular main protagonist.

BeyondCall of Duty: Modern Warfare, however,Captain Price is an iconic characterfeatured in every single game in theModern Warfarefranchise, both in the old series and 2019’s rebooted timeline. The character has basically become the face for theCall of Dutyfranchise over the years, so to have him implemented in the game’s multiplayer is great to see.

Overall, it’ll be very interesting to see the changes that come to the game over the next few weeks. With rumors thatthe game’sWarzonebattle royale modewould be receiving a ton of new content, including even the possibility of a new map, fans will certainly have a ton of content to look forward to when season 4 launches in just a couple of weeks.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfareis available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
