ACall of Duty: Warzone 2player shows off an interesting trick that makes a hatchback vehicle really fast. This maneuver may improve chances of survival while driving and drifting away from a heated gunfight inCall of Duty: Warzone 2.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2recently entered its second season on February 15, which introduced the new Ashika Island battle royale map and the reprised Resurgence Mode. The Season 2 update also brought a revamped loot system that works similarly to theoriginalCall of Duty: Warzoneloot system. Unfortunately, this highly-requested loot system update introduces numerous bugs and glitches such as vanishing loot and weapons appearing incorrectly. Reddit user u/Netoxicky discovers a trick where shooting the left or right back tire of a hatchback vehicle inCall of Duty: Warzone 2increases its overall handling and speed. The player demonstrates this trick by shooting one of the hatchback’s tires and proceeding to drive in a near perfect circle around a teammate. The hatchback was able to turn sharply on two wheels at high speeds, seemingly defyingCall of Duty: Warzone 2’sown physics engine in the process.
SomeCall of Duty: Warzone 2players in the Reddit community believe this trick will likely be patched in a future update. However, other players point out that physics problems involving vehicles have been present in the game since launch. Physics issues persist in thelatestCall of Duty: Warzone 2updatewith loot reportedly being able to vanish or fall through the ground.
In-game vehicles would typically have worse handling and a slower top speed after having a tire shot out. In this case, the trick makes the assumption false for the current version ofCall of Duty: Warzone 2. For now, the hatchback trick does not appear to be on Infinity Ward’s priority list. Theteammate revival bug in Season 2is just one of many issues currently affecting players inCall of Duty: Warzone 2.
Activision and Infinity Ward should continue to address pressing issues inCall of Duty: Warzone 2including the loot system bugs. Hopefully, the developers will resolve technical problems while preparing for new content inCall of Duty: Warzone 2Season 3.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
