The popular battle royaleCall of Duty: Warzonehas had a variety of bugssince it launched, which has frustrated some members of its community. This particular bug started back whenSeason 3 first launched inCall of Duty: Warzone. Raven Software quickly addressed the locations where players could do so across two patches with the most recent launching on May 7. Now, however, it seems that that patch undid some of the hard work done in the first patch, allowing players to slip under Stadium and Airport once again. The bug stems from players finding gaps in the map’s ground that allow them to slip through and stand underneath, able to shoot up at the players above. The issue has been largely publicized by the game’s community with many posts showing the issue flooding the game’s subreddit in an attempt to build awareness of the issue.
The issue has gotten so bad that many players in the community advising others to simply avoid the areas, as the bug has become so widely known that players report running into it nearly every game. Raven Software has yet to comment on the bug, but its online Trello board that it uses to keep the community updated on bugs has the issue tagged with both “monitoring” as well as “investigating.” Many in the community, however, are calling for the bug to be fixed quickly so that the issues can stop overshadowingthe exciting content coming toCall of Duty: Warzone.
Thus far, Season 3 has been largelywell-received by theCall of Duty: Warzonecommunity. Hopefully, Raven Software is able to fully address the issue quickly so that battling bugs does not overshadow the rest of the season. Until then, it seems thatCall of Duty: Warzoneplayers are better off avoiding the Stadium and Airport areas of the new Verdansk ‘84 map as it seems very likely that they will get shot by enemies they can’t even see or return fire to.
Call of Duty: Warzoneis available now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
