Disney Dreamlight Valleyinvites players to live alongside beloved Disney characters in an enchanting region featuring unique biomes filled with resources to collect and friends to be made. Players have the opportunity to invite popular Disney characters to move into the Valley and can raise friendship with them through an assortment of activities. These activities can include daily conversations, the exchange of gifts, or challenging them in a uniqueminigame called Scramblecoin.
Players have the opportunity to welcome a diverse cast of over 30 beloved Disney and Pixar characters. This includes everyone from the timeless Mickey Mouse and his close friends to adventurous Pixar heroes likeBuzz Lightyearand WALL-E, alongside cherished characters from classic Disney tales, includingThe Little Mermaid, Cinderella, andBeauty and the Beast.
Disney Dreamlight Valleyfeatures two unlockable characters from the 1991 animated classicBeauty and the Beast: Belle and The Beast. Players can start a series of quests to invite these characters to the Valley by unlocking the Beauty and the Beast Realm in the Dream Castle. This begins the quest “Into The West Wing,” which has the player assisting Belle with some tricky tasks within Beast’s Castle.
This quest requires the player to scour the expansive Castle for a variety of items. At one point during the quest, this includes a batch of materials intended to create a comical facsimile of Lumière, The Beast’s trusty maître’d. However, these materials can be challenging to locate, given the size of the castle. Therefore, we have detailed below the specific locations of each item required to prepare the Lumière costume for the quest “Into the West Wing” inDisney Dreamlight Valley.
Where to Find All Candle Items for “Into the West Wing”
In the first part of the quest"Into the West Wing,“the player repairs a ladder inside Belle’s library and gains access to the West Wing of the castle. The player’s next task involves creating a costume convincing enough to persuade The Beast to engage in a conversation, aiming to address and hopefully resolve a misunderstanding between him and Belle.
To craft this outfit, the player needs to recover the following items:4 Castle Candle,aGolden Candle Holder,and theGolden Curtain.These items are hidden throughout Beast’s Castle and can be difficult to notice, even though each one does feature a sparkling effect. Here’s where in Beast’s Castle each of these items can be found.
Where to Find Castle Candles
There are a total of four Castle Candles the player must recover that have been stashed in various locations throughout the castle. These can be found at the following locations:
Castle Candle #1
Head outside to the Garden, where you’ll find a Castle Candle on a bench near the castle’s walls.
Castle Candle #2
Another Castle Candle can be found on a table in the Castle’s main foyer, near a grand piano.
Castle Candle #3
In Belle’s library, players can recover a third Castle Candle from a nearby table.
Castle Candle #4
Inside the secret passage behind the ladder, the final Castle Candle is on a barrel near the entrance.
Where to Find the Golden Candle Holder
The player must also recover aGolden Candle Holder, which is undoubtedly the trickiest item to locate, even despite its sparkling effect. The Golden Candle Holder can be found on the Castle’s second floor on a chair across from the right lion statue.
Where to Find the Golden Curtain
Finally, theGolden Curtainis the easiest of these items to locate, as it can be found in the same room where the player accepts Belle’s quest, the Library. The player can collect the Golden Curtain from atop a desk located in the corner of the room.
After the player gathers all six items and brings them back to Belle, she crafts a somewhat convincing Lumière costume. The player mustwear this costumefor the subsequent part of the “Into the West Wing” quest to convince The Beast to patch things up with Belle so they can live happily ever after together in Dreamlight Valley.
