While Disney may mostly be known for its popular movies, such asThe Lion KingandFrozen, there are also a lot of video games that feature the films' characters. An upcoming mobile RPG developed by Kabam,Disney Mirrorversereleased a brand-new trailer today.Disney Mirrorversecombines the worlds from Disney, as well as Pixar, movies, as the characters in them join forces to fight against Fractured forces. A trailer released onDisney Mirrorverse’s Twitter earlier today, showing three of the characters, known as “guardians,” that will be in the game teaming up in battle.RELATED:Kingdom Hearts Dark Road Final Update DelayedIn the beginning ofDisney Mirrorverse’s new trailer, Sulley is seen opening his locker in Monsters, Inc. and roaring in his mirror. As the camera zooms into the mirror, another Sulley, from an alternate universe, prepares for battle in a suit of armor. The scene transitions to show Belle fromBeauty and the Beastwalking over to her mirror while reading a book, with another Belle on the other side, who engages in combat against the Fractured forces with a magical staff. Sulley joins her in the battle, helping her take out their opponents with his shield.

Disney and Pixar heroes aren’t going to be the only playable characters inDisney Mirrorverse. In the middle of Sulley and Belle’s fight against the Fractured forces, they notice a cloud of darkness coming from a mirror. This darkness takes on the form of Maleficent’s dragon. Maleficent was the main antagonist inSleeping Beautyand one of the most popular Disney villains of all time. She seemed to be a second threat thatDisney Mirrorverseplayers would have to fight at first. However, she ends up revealing that she is on Belle and Sulley’s side as she helps them fight the Fractured forces.

Disney Mirrorverse’s Twitter post also revealed that the game will release on June 23, three months from now, and can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play. Gamers can also pre-registerDisney Mirrorversenow, which will allow them to get rewards upon the game’s release.

This is far from the first time that Disney characters have been in video games, with franchises likeKingdom Hearts,Epic Mickey, andDisney Infinityhaving millions of players throughout the years.Disney Mirrorversewill likely be successful as well, seeing as how the game’s official website states thatDisney Mirrorversewill have many updates, adding in new guardians to play as every month.
