He announced his official move to YouTube Gaming on August 6, where his first stream yielded over 400,000 viewers. One of his fans, Natalie Sideserf, celebrated his return with one of the most classic traditions ever: cake.

Sideserf is the owner of Sideserf Cake Studio based out of Austin, Texas, where she creates realistic and fantasy dessert creations, such as Mike Ehrmantraut from Breaking Bad and a Dragon Boat Festival cake. Recently, she’s been dabbling into hyper-realism decorations thanks to the strangest meme to come out of 2020 so far: everything is cake. And to celebrateDr Disrespect’s return via YouTube, Sideserf created a life-sized version of Doc’s head in a “welcome-back-to-streaming cake,” she says.
While wearing a replica version of Doc’s iconic glasses, Sideserf shows off howshe made the realistic Dr Disrespect cake. She made a (non-edible) platform of his neck and chin as a base to stack the layers of cake on top of. After covering the three layers of baked cake batter in green frosting—“Why green? Because I like it!"—she carved out a generic head-shape and explains that the more precise molding would come in later.
A thin layer of modeling chocolate acted as Doc’s skin because it’s easy for her to sculpt with and sketch out his features directly onto the clay-like material. While expertly molding together Doc’s facial features, Sideserf explains that she’s actually thankful for his mustache, wig, and sunglasses because it gives his cake defining features that make it unmistakably Dr Disrespect, despite the details taking extra time and care. Cake can be quite tricky to make look exactly like the real deal, she says, but thanks to his iconic costume, “who else could this possibly be?” Even the pizza delivery man who came to Sideserf’s home while she was sculpting the cake recognized the bust, she says.
Natalie Sideserf, like everyone else, was shocked atthe news of Dr Disrespect’s Twitch banand is eager to find out more information. But even the Doc doesn’t know why he was banned, he claimed during his first YouTube livestream. But like Ninja who had moved over to YouTube following the Mixer closure, it looks like Dr Disrespect won’t be having any trouble moving his fanbase over to the new platform.
