Namely,Dragon Ageconfirmed that players would not only see the Inquisitor inThe Veilguard, but that they would be able to customize their appearance through character creation alongside Rook, who is meant to be the new protagonist. While theyremain split onThe Veilguard’s graphicsin the reveal trailer, video footage and screenshots paint a more favorable picture of the game. The art direction seems to follow in the footsteps ofDragon Age: Inquisition, but a few characters like Emmrich appear to be more stylized compared to previous companions in theDragon Agefranchise.
