Excluding the main quest line ofElden Ring, there are more than twenty hours of quests and other activities for players to complete. The main story itself is more than forty hours long. As such, it should come as no surprise that there are some confusing objectives inElden Ring. This is evident in the quest to find Lanya, which tasks players with helping a man named Diallos find his companion. It can be complicated, but becomes much easier once players know where to look.
Since it was released,Elden Ringhas dominated gamingwith its epic landscape and compelling narrative. The title is often praised for its incredible (and difficult) gameplay, but it delivers an equally interesting set of quests. For those wondering where to find Lanya, this post details where to look.

Where to Find Lanya in Elden Ring
In order to find Lanya, players will need to go to Liurnia, to the Giant Lake. There, they will be able to find the Academy Gate Town Site of Grace. From there, they should move toward the northwest, where they will find Diallos, who gave them the quest to find Lanya, brooding over the woman’s dead body. This area is the sunken roofs, and a quick conversation with Diallos reveals that Lanya is dead. Unlike theYura Hunter of Bloody Fingers quest, finding Lanya is simply a matter of knowing where to look.
The quest involving Lanya continues after discovering her death.Diallosvows to catch the person who brought about her demise, which brings about another objective for players. Of course, the quest line isn’t required; almost nothing inElden Ringis. Players are free to explore the entirety of the map from the start, with some adventurers going so far as toskipElden Ring’s Stormveil Castleentirely.
Indeed, aside from completing the Lanya quest, there are dozens of other entertaining things to do in the Lands Between that can draw the attention of players. With memorable characters likeElden Ring’s Iron Fist Alexanderand beautiful locations likeLimgrave, it is safe to say that FromSoftware has introduced yet another legendary title. As hundreds of thousands of players work towards the completion ofElden Ring, it comes as no surprise that the quests in the game are simultaneously difficult, entertaining, and unique, three traits which are shared by all of FromSoftware’s epic standalone games and franchises.
Elden Ringis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
