Final Fantasy 14hascontinued its ever-growing popularity as an MMO, with its recent expansions bringing a multitude of different content to its audience, including its highly praised MSQ. In the game’s newly released expansion,Dawntrail, players head to Tural, an exotic land where a rite of succession contest takes center stage.

Along the way in theDawntrailMSQ, players travel through a myriad of different zones that make up much of Tural, with the zones ranging from jungles to cyberpunk cities. Each zone possesses unique properties that make each of them stand out, with many being some of the most impressive and grand in the entirety ofFFXIV.

Vast Highlands Surrounding Worqor Zormor

In Yok Tural, one of its most serene locations is Urqopacha, home to the Pelupelu and the Yok Huy. Urqopacha consists of highlands surrounding Tural’s highest peak, Worqor Zormor, wherethe Warrior of Light and Wuk Lamat take on the legendary beast Valigarmanda.

Much of the surrounding lands of Urqopacha are mountainous and barren, with animals such as alpacas being the primary wildlife found roaming around. Old buildings and relics of Yok Huy and Tural history make up many landmarks in Urqopacha, with the land enduring a lot over several decades.

Colorful And Vibrant Forest

One of the first zones inFFXIV’s Dawntrailis the vibrant location of Kozama’uka, a land full of tropical forests and rivers surrounding small settlements that use its resources to thrive and survive. Home to the Hanu, Kozama’uka is brimming with beautiful scenery, such as waterfalls and forests that take after the Amazon Rainforest and its stunning beauty.

Filled with palm trees, overflowing rivers, and exotic wildlife, Kozama’uka is an ideal starting zone,particularly for an expansion inDawntrailthat is heavily based on South America.

Heart Of The Jungle That Has Two Different Sections

Yak T’el is a highly diverse zone inDawntrail, with much of it being divided into two differing sections that are home to theXbr’aal on the high ground and the Mamool Ja, who live beneathin the deep jungle.

The Mamool Ja’s living grounds of the lowlands stand out as the highlight of the zone. The Lowlands' bright and beautiful blue aesthetic, which features glowing wildlife, trees, and plants, bears a resemblance to franchises such asAvatar. On the higher ground, the Xbr’aal live in the woodlands which is basked in the sun, making the zone a complete contrast to the beauty below.

5Heritage Found

Vapid Wasteland Used For Alexandrian Farming

Inside the dome that broaches into Shaaloani is Heritage Found, a zone where Tural and Alexandria’s reflections have been submerged. Heritage Found is an empty wasteland void of scenery and life, much of which was destroyed in Alexandria’s wars. Despite this,Heritage Found is home to Alexandria’s farms, all located in the settlement outside Everkeep.

Many of the farms are powered by advanced technology from Alexandria, with their bright and colorful technology being featured frequently throughout the zone. Heritage Found’s desolate wasteland mixed with specs of purple technology makes the zone a complete contrast, unlike many other zones inFFXIV.

4Shaaloani

Desert Zone That Has A Western Themed Town

After Lamat is crowned Dawnservant alongside Koana, The Warrior of Light and Erenville travel to Shaaloani during their journey. In this sparse wasteland located in the desert, Shaaloani is home to numerous different settlements and towns, with the most captivating location being the western-styled town of Hhusatahwi.

Filled with saloons and jails run by the town’s sheriff, Hhusatahwi is an authentic location that adds anew dimension and setting to the Japanese MMO. Shaaloani’s OST is one of the most impressive inDawntrail, particularly with its night theme having a haunting and moody sound that encapsulates the desert of Shaaloani.

3Tuliyollal

Exotic Hub City Of Dawntrail

As with every expansion,a hub city is required, which holds many featuresand NPCs to talk to for items and quests, with Tuliyollal beingDawntrail’shub. Home to the Dawnservant Gulool Ja Ja and his sons Zoraal Ja, Koana, and the expansion’s main protagonist, Lamat, Tuliyollal is the location of much ofDawntrail’sMSQ.

In this exotic city, much of Tuliyollal is heavily based on South American influences, with much of its design being that of a coastal town or resort. Filled with tropical houses, establishments, and markets, Tuliyollal gives off a vibrant atmosphere while traversing the city. In the daytime, Tuliyollal’s theme has a jazzy sound that depicts the grandeur of the city and its surroundings, making Tuliyollal stand out inDawntrail.

2Solution Nine

Cyberpunk City With A Wealth Of Vibrant Sectors

Inside Everkeep resides Solution Nine, a cyberpunk city that houses many of Alexandria’s remaining citizens. Ruled by King Zoraal Ja and Queen Sphene, Solution Nine is a futuristic city teeming with bright lights and extravagant buildings, with the Scions and Lamat being astonished at its size and scale.

Solution Nine is comprised of several sectors, such as the residential area, the government buildings of Resolution, True Vue, and the Nexus Arcade, home to all the raiding gear for the latest expansion. Each sector has a unique design and function, fleshing out the city as a utopia for its citizens,who even wear futuristic clothing to match its theme.

Dawntrail’s Golden City Living Memory in Final Fantasy 14

1Living Memory

Golden City That Is Full Of Amusements

Dawntrail’sfinal zone, the Golden City of Living Memory, is a sight to behold, withQueen Sphene and remnants of the Alexandrian empireliving in the magnificent city as endless people. In this gorgeous city, an array of amusements and spectacles make the zone special, particularly with its version of Venice, where quaint houses surround canals and riverboats.

Living Memory offers an amusement park full of attractions such as ferris wheels and carousel rides, depicting Living Memory as a utopia for all. The zone also features a volcano that holds much of the history of the Milalla inside, with the city being full of vibrant locations that are sure to indulge many. Despite Sphene’s loss to the Warrior of Light, resulting in Living Memory having much of its beauty reduced to nothing, the empty city still makes for intriguing exploration after the MSQ is completed.
