Summary

Months after the launch of its second DLC,Final Fantasy 16released its version 1.33 update to fix some bugs and give players a color-coding option to help with custom control setups. The newFinal Fantasy 16update required under 300MB of space to download and install, and followed a pattern for similar updates released in 2024.

WhileFinal Fantasy 16has largely ended development, that has not stopped Creative Studio 3 from continuing support for the PS5-exclusive title. In April 2024,Final Fantasy 16players discovered a bugthat prevented progress in New Game+ mode from being made. If a player that started a New Game+ run chose to skip the prologue, there was a chance that a bug would prevent party members from showing up. Ergo, the bug would render progress impossible at the start. Though the bug would not appear if players completed the prologue in New Game+ mode,Final Fantasy 16was updated to version 1.32 on May 2 to address it.
