It seems these days that nearly every popular franchise has had some sort of connection withFortnite. Iron Man from Marvel, Master Chief fromHalo, the Mandalorian fromStar Wars, and Kratos fromGod of Warare only a few examples of the manycrossover events inFortnite. Despite the constant stream of new cosmetics added to the title, some of the most recognizable items such as the Shield Potion come from when the game was first released back in 2017. Recently, one fan has taken their love for the game to another level by creating real-life Shield Potions that look as good as the ones found in Epic’s Battle Royale.

After getting some jars and blue slime, a Reddit user called NachoCheeseCR decided to create replicas of the Shield Potions fromFortnite. The creator made replicas of both Small Shield Potions as well as the regular-sized version. Some of the most pivotal items in the game, Shield Potions often mean the difference between winning and losing a fight, as the small ones provide up to 25 shield, while the large variety can give players up to 50 shield.

NachoCheeseCR revealed that the jars used to hold the rejuvenating elixir were found at Walmart and Ikea. They even managed to get the blue slime to appear as though it were glowing under the correct lighting, as the picture with the creator holding the small jar in a dark room shows. This impressive creation is another example of theFortnitecommunity’s talented members. A number offans have already doneFortnitecosplaysof some of the most memorable skins in the game.

These real-life Shield Potions have become a hit on the internet with NachoCheeseCR already receiving more than 2,500 upvotes on Reddit for the post. Even though most fans are impressed with the real-life versions of the Shields, the community can’t seem to decide if the glowing blue slime looks good enough to eat or poisonous enough to send the creator to the emergency room. It appears that NachoCheeseCR intends to keep the replicas as collectibles instead of drinking them. The creator says, “I don’t really want blockage in my gastrointestinal tract.”

The popularity of NachoCheeseCR’s real-life Shield Potions shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise for fans of the game. Originally a tower defense survival game calledFortnite: Save the World, the game has become synonymous with the Battle Royale experience after the model was introduced later that same year. Ever since then, ithas continued to be one of the most popular games in the industry.

With the completion of his Shield Potion replicas, it will be interesting to see what NachoCheeseCR makes next. While only time will tell, perhaps they will continue the theme and create areplica of the Chug Jug.
