There will always be disagreements in the community when it comes to certain decisions - for example, theoverpowered Shockwave Hammer added in Chapter 4 Season 1- but Epic Games tries its best to make as many players happy as they can.
Reality Augments were introduced in Chapter 4 Season 1, and they were a hit with most of the community.Fortnitefans were excited when they found out thatAugments would be returning in the next season. Once Chapter 4 Season 2 dropped and gamers took a look at the list of Augments, they were surprised to see that it had completely reset and very few Augments from the previous season had made a return.

With the release of theFind the ForceStar Warsupdate toFortniteon May 2, four Reality Augments were added to the game, but only mentioned in a single line of the patch notes, going unnoticed by many fans. The returning Augments are First Assault, Bush Warrior, Forecast, and Mythic Munition. It is unknown why these Augments were chosen to return at this point in the season, but gamers were immediately alarmed when they noticed that Forecast had been added back.
The day following the update, the officialFortniteStatus Twitter account announced that the Forecast Augment had been removed from tournaments and from the Arena game mode as well. This is most likely related to the of with many competitive games turning into heal-offs at the end. Not too long ago, theGame Time Reality Augment, which granted players various healing items, was also removed from the game. In the patch notes, Epic Games has noted that it “will continue to monitor the impact of healing items and matches that end in heal-offs.”
The Bush Warrior Augment was one of the Augments to return toFortnitebecause camping is a valid strategy for a battle royale game; the main objective is to survive, regardless of whether the players eliminate others or not. However, in competitive playlists, gamers should win because of their gaming skills and not because they were lucky and simply gathered more and better healing items throughout the duration of the match.
