While most new content found inGenshin Impact’s 1.6 update is located in the recently added Golden Apple Archipelago, there are several additions to the world of Teyvat that players will not want to miss out on. One of the new world quests added to the game is the curiously titled " A Dish Beyond Mortal Ken," whichGenshin Impactplayers can complete to receive an extremely beneficial recipe.
To find the quest, players must travel to theWangshu Innwaypoint located in central Liyue. From the waypoint, head down two sets of stairs and speak with Smiley Yanxiao.

Smiley will explain to the player that he is struggling to develop a new recipe idea that will attract new guests to the inn. After a brief conversation, players will be tasked with assisting Smiley in devising a new recipe.
The first objective that players must complete is to obtainone Bird Eggand one Snapdragon Flower for Smiley. If players do not have either item in their inventory, Snapdragon flowers can be easily found in the Northern part of Jueyun Karst and Bird Eggs can be found on top of several of the houses in Springvale.
After obtaining both of the ingredients, head back to Smiley to submit the items. The player’s next task will be to slice the meat required for the dish. This objective can be somewhat confusing, as there is no interactable prompt anywhere in the room to cut the meat.
What players need to do is simply use any melee attack on the meat sitting on the table. While there may not be any feedback from the game that hitting the meat is accomplishing anything, after several hits the objective will be completed.
Next, players need to pour pure water into the pot. Unsurprisingly, this is accomplished by using anyHydro-characterselemental burst or abilities on the pot located in the kitchen.
Once the water has been poured, the final task for players is to light the stove. This is done by using any Pyro-characters elemental burst or abilities on the stove.
With the meal successfully completed, players will be rewarded with the purple Chicken Tofu Pudding recipe. When consumed, the Chicken Tofu Pudding grants all party members a 224-320 Attack buff, and a 6-10% Crit Rate increase for 300 seconds.
WithCrit Rate and Attackbeing two of the most important stats in the endgame, this recipe will prove extremely useful to players in the 50+ Adventure Rank categories.
