AGenshin Impactleaker named GI_Front has revealed the new five-star catalyst named A Thousand Floating Dreams which is apparently scheduled for the next update. The catalyst will serve as the signature weapon for one of the upcoming characters, thelong-awaited Dendro Archon Nahida. Numerous leaks have confirmed that she will join the playable roster once version 3.2 arrives. According to a popularGenshin Impactdatabase website named Project Amber, the new weapon will have the following stats:

Multiple replies in the comment section claim that this will be one of thestrongest weapons in theGenshin Impact, however, its use can be situational. The new catalyst will be the go-to choice for support characters in team compositions that rely on Elemental Mastery which has become one of the most important stats in the new Sumeru region.

Nahida will probably become thebest Dendro support inGenshin Impactsince the current two supports, Collei and Dendro Traveler, can hardly keep up with Nahida’s damage and Dendro applications. A big part of the community wants HoYoverse to add more Dendro characters since the new meta seems to be shaping around the new element which can trigger numerous elemental reactions.

When it comes to Nahida’s release date, she is expected to arrive in the first part ofGenshin Impactupdate 3.2which is scheduled to arrive around November 7. There is still no official information if she will be placed with the new four-star character Layla on the same banner.

Genshin Impactis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
