A new leak shared by prominentGenshin Impactleaker Genshin Universe via an anonymous source has revealed anew boss coming toGenshin Impact’s Version 4.2. The boss, titled “Narzissenkreuz,” appears to bean empowered Hydro Phantasmwith scaled armor, also being shown in its normal Hydro Eidolon form. The boss is suggested to be connected with a new World Quest in Version 4.2, likely serving as a continuation of the “Ann of the Narzissenkreuz” storyline introduced in Version 4.0. The quest is expected to debut with Version 4.2’s release on November 8th.
Genshin Impact’s new Narzissenkreuz boss is not the only boss heavily rumored to be debuting in the RPG’s next update. Leaks have heavily suggested that Version 4.2 will see the introduction of the Fontaine region’s first weekly boss, reportedly set to be abattle against Fatui Harbinger Childe’s Hydro whale. The whale was previously featured as one of Childe’s main attacks within his own weekly boss challenge in Liyue. Materials from the boss will likely be used when leveling Talents for Version 4.2’s upcoming characters, Furina and Charlotte.
