A new leak fromGenshin Impacthas revealed a batch of three Character Cards set to be added to Genius Invokation TCG during the Version 3.8 update. Since the release of the HoYoverse RPG’s TCG game mode, the developer has brought plenty of new additions to the game with each patch introducing more cards. New character cards based on beloved characters and enemies have regularly joined the TCG withthe upcoming Verison 3.7 updateset to add more than 60 cards. Now, the TCG will reportedly receive even more playable characters in Version 3.8.
Version 3.7 launching this week is set to be the largest update to theGenshin ImpactTCG since its debut. Leaks have revealed a roster of 13 new Character Cards set to join the TCG with the new update, including beloved characters like Hu Tao and each region’s Archon. The massive addition to the card library will also come alongside an event focused on Genius Invokation TCG, introducing new characters like Kirara and the first Fontaine character, Charlotte. However, the TCG is set to welcome even more characters before the launch of Fontaine.

An update shared to theGenshin Impactleaks subreddit shows offthree new Character Cards set to join the TCG, leftover from a previous massive leak from the game. The Version 3.8 update to Genius Invokation TCG will reportedly add Kazuha, Candace, and Yanfei to the TCG as playable characters. Kazuha’s addition to the TCG comes as the character is also set to feature on one ofVersion 3.7’s limited gacha banners. Version 3.8 is currently expected to launch in early July as the final update for the Sumeru region.
While no details were shared about any of the Character Cards' kits, the three new additions will likely function similarly to theirGenshin Impactcounterparts.Kazuha will look to provide powerful effectsfor teams built around Swirling elements with Anemo. Candace’s gameplay should look to benefit teams focused around Hydro with herGenshin Impactversion offering both a counter and on-hit Hydro damage for players. Yanfei could bring a unique stacking mechanic to the TCG., similar to the charge system used with her Charged Attacks.
The new leaks for Genius Invokation TCG comes as new information has already begun to surface forGenshin Impact’s Version 3.8. The update is expected to add a new limited-time region to the game, believed to serve as a lead-in to the release of Fontaine.Genshin Impact’s newest skins are also heavily rumored to be on the way with both four-star character Kaeya and five-star characterKlee leaked to be receiving their first skins.Genshin Impact’s Version 3.8 update looks to have plenty in store as the precursor to the game’s newest region.
