Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, the new multiplayer mode for Sucker Punch’s widely acclaimed samurai epic, has largely been a success for the coveted PlayStation-owned studio. Those who’ve gotten stuck into the title over the last few weeks have been waiting for one thing, however, with Sucker Punch promising thatLegendswould incorporate Raids in the new future. A new patch from Sucker Punch has just launched to prep players for the upcoming online event, with Update 1.14 said to resolve a few bugs and ensure everything’s set for the upcoming Raid. According to Sucker Punch, players won’t be able to play The Tale of Iyo without upgrading to version 1.14. Once players have downloaded it, they’ll be able to tune into the latest slice ofGhost of Tsushima: Legendscontent when it drops at 3 PM Pacific Time.

For those out of the loop on The Tale of Iyo raid, it’ll act as the culmination of the current story being weaved throughLegends,as players finally descend on Iyo’s realm. It’ll be an end-game piece of content, so players will have to approach the Raid heavily armed and ready for a fight. The Tale of Iyo will take place over three distinct chapters, withSucker Punchrecommending that players complete all the story missions and try to grind out some high-level gear before they look to take on the punishing missions.

Interestingly, it will also function slightly different from other aspects ofLegends, asthere is no matchmaking involved in The Tale of Iyo. Instead, players will need to cobble together their own team ofGhost of Tsushimaplayers, picking a strong four-man squad that will be able to go toe-to-toe with the more powerful enemies lurking in Iyo’s realm. It seems it’ll be an intentionally brutal new chapter forLegends, which will truly test the abilities of the multiplayer mode’s frequent players.

Ghost of Tsushimahas without question been one of the year’s biggest releases, with Sucker Punch finishing off the PlayStation 4’s lineup of exclusives with a bang. The game has done extraordinarily well in sales, with several job listing already citing thata follow-up toGhost of Tsushimacould be in the early stages of development.
