Grand Theft Auto 5is coming up on its ninth year of being available to gamers. Since then, many have enjoyed the experience Los Santos and the San Andreas map have to offer. From a single-player story that was celebrated by many upon the game’s release to an online mode that still receives consistent, free updates such as theGTA 5Contracts DLC, it’s clear Rockstar is still happy to be working on and supporting the game.
Initially,Grand Theft Auto 5released on the Xbox 360 and PS3. Later in the year, the Xbox One and PS4 dropped, allowingGrand Theft Auto 5to re-release for that generation of consoles in 2014. Now, though, it looks likeGrand Theft Auto 5for the PS5 and Xbox Series X is guaranteed as the game looks to launch on March 15, giving new graphical and gameplay enhancements to the game. Considering the SSDs that were added to both the PS5 and Xbox Series X, many fans of the series were hoping that the notoriously long load times ofGrand Theft Auto 5would be trimmed down with the new release.
It looks like the updated hardware of the new consoles will be able to do just that, as a video shows off how quickly the game loads on PS5 in comparison to the PS4. There seems to be little competition between the two consoles as the PS5’s load times finally bring an end toGrand Theft Auto 5slow loading. This comes with a number of other enhancements to the game, though any looking to hop into the next-gen experience ofGTAmay want to make sure they have enough space on their consolesdue to the game’s potentially large file size on the PS5.
Though some were disappointed that the next generation of consoles would not be accompanied by a newGrand Theft Autotitle, Rockstar has confirmed that there is a new game on the way.
