AGrand Theft Auto Onlineplayer has made a visual showcase that depicts the true damage done by the removal of vehicles from purchase in the game. The showcase video is quite telling as it shows the aftermath of Rockstar’s removal of 180+ cars and bikes from in-game websites inGrand Theft Auto Online’s latest update.

Grand Theft Auto Onlinehas caused controversy due to the recent removal of 194 vehicles from purchase. While Rockstar assured that the removal was done to streamline the user experience, players have found that some previously-free cars were put into theGTA+ service, meaning they were now paywalled. Additionally, it’s been confirmed that some of the removed vehicles will return as gambling rewards from The Lucky Wheel.

One player on YouTube showcased the true impact ofvehicle removal fromGrand Theft Auto Online. The player, known as Broughy 1322, shared a video showing the scale of the impact brought by the recentGTA Onlineupdate. In the showcase, the player can be seen walking through two rows of cars, all of which have been delisted from in-game websites.

The content creator explains that the server in which the showcase was set up was created by 8th Gear FiveM and features all the cars that have been removed. The creator even stated that “you can’t fully grasp it until you see them like this” when discussing how players would overlook the real impact of the removal. The YouTuber highlighted that, in total, players lost the ability to purchase 26 motorcycles, 13 muscles, 14 off-roads, 24 sedans, 17 supers, and many other cars totaling about 192vehicles that were removed from purchase inGrand Theft Auto Online.

Some otherGTA Onlinefans pointed out that some of the vehicles removed fromGrand Theft Auto Onlineeven include all 3 of the story character’s cars. In other words, cars such as Trevor’s Canis Bodhi and Franklin’s Buffalo 5 are no longer available for players to purchase. It’s worth noting that players who already purchased these cars still have them in their inventory. Additionally, the vehicles can still be taken from NPCs in the overworld but won’t be able to be stored until they’re purchased if and when they return to sale. Some players have mourned the loss of some cars they were planning to buy for their collections.
