Halo Infinite’s campaign was recently launched in addition to its beloved multiplayer.Halo Infinite’s multiplayer shadow-droppedbeforehand, and players have had time to grow accustomed to its seasonal layout of additional content and progression structure. 343 Industries has addressed some concerns that players have expressed aboutHalo Infinite’s Season One Battle Pass and its approach to paid versus earnable rewards.

But aside from the standard Battle Pass that players passively and actively navigate through multiplayer challenges, the Fracture: Tenrai event allowed for more match-to-match diversity and unique rewards that were meant to be exclusive to the event itself. Today,Halo Infinite’s Winter Contingency eventpresents a festive, holiday-themed celebration just in time for Christmas this weekend, and here are all the details players should know going into it.

All Rank Rewards and Details for Halo Infinite’s Winter Contingency Event

Winter Contingency’s list of available rewards and ranks is relatively shortcompared to that of Fracture: Tenrai. However, Tenrai will be making multiple reprisals as an event, while Winter Contingency appears to be strictly seasonal due to the holiday. As such, Winter Contingency’s rewards reflect its festive nature, such as associable color palettes and snowflake backdrops.Halo Infinite’s Winter Contingency rewardsand their prerequisite XP ranks are as follows:

Winter Contingency’s first reward at rank 1 is the “Wild Justice” epic nameplate. Peppermint Laughter rare coatings, comprised of a teal, white, and red color palette, are unlockable for the Mark VII armor, the MA40 Assault Rifle, and the MK50 Sidekick respective to ranks 2, 5, and 8. UA/Tatius rare left and right shoulder pads are unlocked at ranks 3 and 4. The “Snowmageddon” epic backdrop unlocks at rank 6, the “Navlogcom” rare nameplate unlocks at rank 7, and a rare utility Myesel Ammo Pouch unlocks at rank 9.

Winter Contingency concludes with the Sunset Contessa epic armor coating at rank 10, with a brownish-orange, black, and muted yellow color palette. Sure to excite players, all of these rewards are available as free unlocks once enough event challenges and XP are earned toward Winter Contingency. Unlike Tenrai, there are no specific multiplayer queues assigned to the event’s progression. Instead, players can earn XP toward these rewards by completingHalo Infinite’s event challenges.

Halo Infinite Winter Contingency End Date

As fordates and times that Winter Contingency will be available, the event is open today until January 3rd, leaving only 13 days left for it. This should give players ample time to collect free rewards while participating inHalo Infinite’s seasonal, free event. Fans may be able to expect more seasonal, one-time events on a perennial basis with themed content such as Winter Contingency provides.
