As a core part ofHello Neighbor 2, items serve to help players progress, solve puzzles, and overcome obstacles. Collecting items is easy since each item is acquired after completing a certainHello Neighbor 2Act.
A variety of items exist in the game, and some of them will be utilized in multiple Acts, like the Crowbars and Scissors. Players will also stumble upon items that solely exist to facilitate the experience in certain Acts. Since these items are added to the inventory, players can keep them for future Acts if they wish.

How To Use The Items in Hello Neighbor 2
To use items, players need to access theirHello Neighbor 2inventory. Also, each Act’s item can be found within the targeted house range, so don’t fret over losing them in previous missions. Here are some of all the current items in the game:
Crowbar
There is no doubt that the Crowbar is the most vital item, since it is, in fact, used in alltheHello Neighbor 2’s four Actsas well as in the DLCs. Players can use this item to traverse obstacles blocking their paths, such as wooden planks that obscure doors and passages. Crowbar is also used to open wooden chests and break glass windows, creating an opening into unreachable areas.
Scissor
Scissors are used in most of theHello Neighbor 2Acts to cut through the fabric and webs that conceal the existence of some of the most important puzzle pieces. It is obtained with the Crowbarin Act 1 ofHello Neighbor 2and can be kept in the inventory to use in the rest of the game.
Fire Extinguisher
The Fire Extinguisher isn’t present in the first Act, since it isn’t needed in any part of it. However, in Act 2 ofHello Neighbor 2, the Extinguisher is acquired, since it is needed to smolder the fire in the Baker’s oven. The Fire Extinguisher is mainly required to put out the flames hovering over the various puzzle items, such as keys and meat.
Shovel
The Shovel is introduced at the beginning of the game in the hands of the neighbor but won’t be of use until Act 3. It is used to dig out the buried items like the safe in Act 3 and the statue’s staff in Act 4.
Wrench
The Wrench is the final item introduced in the game since it can only becollected in Act 4 ofHello Neighbor 2. The Wrench is used to loosen the tight bolts that are locking the bathroom door, and iron fireplace gate in the Museum. Additionally, it can be used to open the vent between the garage and the room next to it, helping players escape the Neighbor’s tight grip.
Drone
The Drone is only obtained after purchasing the Hello-Copter DLC, or the gameDeluxe Edition. The latter offers a variety of add-ons liketheHello Neighbor 2Back to School DLCand the Late Fees DLC. Using the Drone, players can navigate the Acts without worrying about being caught by the guards. Also, it can collect items that are out of reach without having to find solutions to their puzzles. It should be noted that the Drone doesn’t have a specific range that restricts players' navigation.
Drone Display
This is also included in the Hello-Copter DLC package, as without it the Drone is useless. The Drone Display is used tocontrol the Drone through the Hello Neighbor 2 Acts. To use it, players should first throw the Drone then switch to the Drone Display and activate it. Since the Drone serves as a distraction to guards, players don’t have to worry about being caught, as long as they don’t steer the Drone toward them.
Hello Neighbor 2is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
