A hilarious new bug has been discovered inMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredthat gives Peter Parker the neck of the infamous Spooder-Man meme. This bug was discovered on the PC version ofMarvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, and it actually doesn’t seem to warp anything about the web-slinger besides his neck. It doesn’t seem like this is a game-breaking bug, but just an entertaining one forSpider-Manfans.

The Spooder-Man meme is typically used by someone drawing a poor version of Spider-Man and having the character spout vulgar language with inconsistent grammar or dialects. The poor drawings usually lead to warped body proportions, which is why a lot of Spooder-Man drawings feature a long neck, much like this bug in the game. While this is a small bug,Marvel’s Spider-Manmodders brought an entirely playable Spooder-Manto the game last year.

In a post made to Reddit by user Crazycatwastaken, a screenshot from the PC version of the game featuring the bug has been made available for all to see. Using the game’s photo mode, which has been used to set up some elaborate and creative shots from players since the game’s release, the back of Spider-Man can be viewed in a subway tunnel with his neck stretched and bent forward, just like the popular Spooder-Man meme. The mouse icon on the screen also reveals that this is the PC version of the game. The skin Peter Parker is wearing is the Webbed Suit, which is the skin based off the Sam RammiSpider-Manfilms from the early 2000s. It’s unknown if the bug is persistent with othersuits inMarvel’s Spider-Man.

WhenMarvel’s Spider-Manwas remastered for PS5 and PC, it could not have been predicted how much of an impact the game would have on the modding scene. Despite this bug appearing to be just that–a bug–it is also worth noting that a lot of the more obscure Spider-Man costumes were brought to the limelight by modders, which would often create hilarious or buggy gameplay situations for players to then discuss and experiment with. As the game hit more platforms besides PS4, morefunnyMarvel’s Spider-Manbugswere discovered, though not many, if any, appear to be game-breaking.

While minor bugs and glitches are common in remasters or ports of older games, this one is hilarious for its accuracy to the Spooder-Man meme. WithMarvel’s Spider-Man 2set to release in the fall of this year exclusively for PS5, fans are hoping for a polished experience and minimal bugs. But with some bugs likeMiles Morales T-posing at bad times inMarvel’s Spider-Man, some bugs can be worse than others.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredis available for PC and PS5.
