The Dragon Aspect Shout in theElder Scrolls 5: Skyrimis an excellent support Shout and can significantly help the Dragonborn in combat situations. Apart from the armor enchantments the Shout conjures, players can also summon an Ancient Dragonborn to aid them in battle when their health drops below half. This temporary companion can cast iconic Shouts like Unrelenting Force and Frost Breath upon hostile enemies.
The conjured dragon-themed armor also boosts resistance to elements like fire and frost while considerably decreasing Shout recharge time. This makes it incredibly easy to combo different Shouts and experiment with one’s foes. However, to fully utilize the potential of the Dragon Aspect Shout, players must visit three unique locations. Hence, this guide focuses on revealingthe locations for the Words of Power for the Dragon Aspect shoutand their uses.

The Dragon Aspect Shout acts as a Power and can be used once per day. Waiting for 24 in-game hours will grant you another usage.
What Is Dragon Aspect Shout in Skyrim?
Players must discover three Words of Power to fully unlock the potential of the Dragon Aspect shout. After each Word of Power is collected andredeemed with Dragon Souls, visual and technical boosts to the heavenly conjured dragon armor can also be noticed.
The locations will be separate in this guide for easy access to readers looking for particular Words of Power. This is because there is no fixed order for collecting the Words of Power except the last one, which is locked behind the final Dragonborn DLC quest.

However, players are expected to stumble upon them during quests, making it easier for them to play through the DLC story while getting these mighty Shouts in the process. All the following Words of Power will belocated on the island of Solstheim, as it was added to the game with the Dragonborn DLC.
Dragon Aspect Word of Power - Strength
It would be best if you ran into the first Word of Power while following the Dragonborn DLC main quests. It can be found in the Temple of Miraak, located at the center of Solstheim island. You’ll be guided to the location shortly after you reachRaven Rock, the capital of Solstheim. The quest will play out as an average dungeon-crawling experience until players are greeted with the word wall. It will be guarded by an ancient Draugr, called “Gate-keeper,” and defeating him should not pose a challenge for high-level players.
You can now invest dragon souls into the Shout to unlock its first effect and use the Shout to fortify your weapons. This will imbue the weapons with a glowing energy that will help you deal more damage per hit. Thanks to its location, players can gain access to it just after putting together enough gold for the boat ride to Raven Rock.

Dragon Aspect Word of Power - Armor
The second Word of Power, Armor, is the only one not appearing during the main DLC questline. With this, you will finally get access to the help of an Ancient Dragonborn companion when enemies drop your health below 50%. It can be found in theRaven Rock Mines, located in the northern part of Solstheim. Once you reach the Raven Rock Mine, a new side quest called “The Final Descent” will appear. Completing this quest grants impressive rewards, like the only energy-blastinggreatsword in Skyrim, the Bloodskal Blade. The weapon will be left in front of a huge mystic gateway with glowing red cracks.
You must equip the Bloodskal Blade and use heavy attacks while aiming at the cracks in the gateway to open them. However, it is not so simple, since you need to align the attack type (vertical or horizontal) with the glowing red cracks. This means that regular heavy attacks will only work on vertical cracks. It would be best to movefrom side to side while using heavy attacks to conjure horizontal energy blasts for horizontal cracks.Aiming your cross-hair directly at the cracks while around ten feet away from the Bloodskal gateway will surely do the trick.

When the gateway finally opens, you may follow the path full of blade traps to a room with a chest. However, the Dragon Priest Zahkriisosappears once you get close to it and becomes the boss fight in the Raven Rock Mines. In that very same room, players will find an identical rock with the second Word of Power inscribed on it.
Third Word of Power - Wyrm
Players need to wait until they reach the final mission in the Dragonborn DLC main quest line, “At the Summit of Apocrypha,” before gaining access to the final Word of Power for the Dragon’s Aspect Shout. Hence, the word wall will be at the end of the Black Book’s Chapter 6, Waking Dreams.
The Dragonborn must fend off two Seekers before getting near the word wall. Then, Miraak’s Dragon, Sahrotaar, flies close to the Dragonborn, leaving them no choice but to defend themselves against the flying beast. Make sure to dodge his frost/fire breath as he lands, since it is powerful enough to eliminate the Dragonborn within a few seconds. Casting the Bend Will shout on Sahrotaar at full power will surely tame him, allowing players to ride him instantly. Unfortunately, Sahrotaar was bound to die at Miraak’s hands, as he wanted to absorb his servant’s soul as a last resort. With all these words of power, players can finally experience the First Dragonborn’s signature all-rounder shout.

Upon collecting the final word, you will gain a whopping 125 points in armor, a 25% boost to power attacks, Shout effectiveness, Shout recharge time, fire, and frost resistance. With a wide range of effects, the Dragon Aspect shout is one of the game’s most useful powers. One must keep in mind that the Shout can only be used once per day, just like a power and not a shout. However, this is essentially an advantage, as the shout decreases shout recharge time by 25%, and you can use mighty shouts like Bend Will continuously and way quicker than usual.
