Niantic is giving players a golden opportunity to catch Mienfoo as part of the Stadium Sights event inPokemon GO. Considering that the Pokemon hasn’t been available in the game for quite a while now, many are wondering how they can catch Mienfoo and whether its shiny version is available in the game.
The Stadium Sights event is being organized for fans all across the globe to celebrate thePokemon GOFest 2024: Sendai event. While the event mostly focuses on the debut of shiny Emolga, there are some other exciting featured Pokemon that players can catch in the wild. Here ishow to get Mienfoo inPokemon GO, and whether it can be shiny or not.

How To Get Mienfoo In Pokemon GO
Mienfoo is now available in the wildPokemon GO, something that wasn’t possible earlier. In fact, many players were actually surprised and were wondering that Niantic had actually forgotten about Mienfoo, considering that there was a long gap between the Pokemon being last available in the game and its return at theStadium Sights event. That’s not all, since it is a featured Pokemon for the event, it will be spawning much more frequently in the wild, so players have a golden opportunity to get the Pokemon or farm candies if they haven’t already
.
As far as catching the Pokemon itself is concerned, players shouldrely on Incense and Lure Modules to boost the spawn rate of Pokemonaround them. When it comes to Lure Modules, players need to use just the regular one, considering the fact that any of the other types do not boost Fighting-type Pokemon as such. This does mean that all Pokemon will be attracted to the module, but it is still better than simply hunting Mienfoo in the wild without any added boosts.
Can You Get Shiny Mienfoo In Pokemon GO?
No, Shiny Mienfoo is not available inPokemon GO. While many expected that Mienfoo would be released in its shiny form as part of theStadium Sights event, the event seems to be focusing predominantly on theshiny debut of Emolga. Interestingly, Mienfoo is the only Pokemon apart from Staravia which is being featured as part of the Stadium Sights event that doesn’t have a shiny variant. It is not yet known when Mienfoo will be getting a shiny variant inPokemon GO, but it will likely be getting its own event for its debut. That being said, considering the developers have added it into the wild, it is very likely that the shiny debut might also follow suit pretty soon.
