For most theme park enthusiasts, a trip to Disneyland can be hard to budget for, especially with children in tow. Thankfully, for summer 2024, the park is offering some relief with discounted passes toDisneylandand Disney’s California Adventure. Children can cost as little as $50 per child per day, yielding massive savings for parents on a budget. While these passes still don’t include any extras like parking passes or park hopper privileges, guests can still save a lot compared to the normal ticket price.
Summer is More Affordable at Disneyland
Disney has always been a destination theme park, especially in recent years. No matter when one visits, the park always feels like it’s at maximum capacity, with thousands of guests pushing past each other toDisney rides like Rise of the Resistance, see shows, and meet their favorite characters. Because demand is so high, Disney theme parks can raise prices annually and see virtually no dip in sales. So, budget-conscious travelers must save accordingly to turn their Disneyland dreams into reality.
Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure will be much more affordable during Summer 2024.According to the resort, guests can purchase 3-day passes for as little as $149 for children (3-9 years old) and $249 for adults. If guests want to go on weekends, the passes are $199 and $299, respectively. Passholders don’t have to go on consecutive days, and the offer lasts until May 29, 2025. Also, guests can only go to one park per day (instead of hopping between parks). Guests may also be subject to park availability, so they must check beforehand to ensure their passes will work.Additional expenses like MagicBand+and Genie+ will be extra, so visitors will have to plan accordingly.
This discount deal is huge, and many Disney enthusiasts will likely take advantage of it. Without this deal, 3-day park passes can cost$390 for adults and $365 for children. That means guests can save at least $100 and experience all the magic both parks offer. Although these are not park hopper passes, there is plenty to do at each resort to fill an entire day. Plus, since guests don’t have to go on consecutive days, they can spread the experience through the entire summer vacation.
During Summer 2024,Disneylandand Disney’s California Adventure are running multiple festivals and celebrations. For example, at California Adventure, Pixar Fest is happening from now until August 4. The festival celebrates all the characters and worlds created by Pixar, including a nighttime spectacular show with fireworks and projections. Guests canexperience the show Fantasmic at Disneylandevery night throughout the summer, which includes scenes fromAladdin,Tangled, andSleeping Beauty.
