This is done by constantly dividing the space between Gojo and his opponent, which makes an infinite chain that ends up slowing down time the closer one gets to him, making him untouchable. This makes Limitless the perfect defense for the world ofJujutsu Kaisen, though this is not where its utility ends. Limitless also has some of the best offensive capabilities in the entire series due to the same infinity manipulation, giving 3 incredible attacks; Lapse Blue, Reversal Red, and Hollow Purple.
Lapse Blue plays on the attractive forces of a singularity, creating an attack that sucks everything into itself. Reversal Red is the opposite of this as it plays on the repulsive forces, sending things flying off by repelling them. The third, and most powerful, of them all isthe secret technique of the Gojo clan, the Hollow Purple, which adds both Blue and Red to form something of a paradoxical and imaginary mass in an attack that attracts and repels at the same time, erasing anything caught in its path completely.

Gojo devoted his life to mastering Cursed Energy and refined his power to the point where even the Special Grade Disaster Curses could not do anything to him, as he just treated them like fodder.
It was because of his hardworking nature that he was able to bring himself back after suffering fatal wounds against Toji, where he grasped the truth behind Jujutsu and could heal himself. However, it is unlikely they may ever reach the same level that their former teacher was at, simply because Gojo was a sorcerer that comes once in a lifetime.

Gojo knew the isolation that came with being the strongest sorcerer meant that no one could understand him, which made his life go down a certain path that made him unequaled in terms of strength. He always wished to fight to his limits and he got that wish granted in his final battle against Sukuna.

As the series approaches its end, many fans predict that Yuji will finally surpass the level of Gojo to defeat Sukuna.
