Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Count Dooku, and Emperor Palpatine—these are only a few of the iconic characters featured inLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’s newest trailer, which focuses solely on villains from the dark side whom players will battle within different film series' and also play as at their will. But asLEGOfans know, these characters are offered whimsical interpretation in adorable spoofs synonymous withLEGOadaptations; for example, Kylo Ren expresses agitation after the red blade from his cross-guard lightsaber malfunctions while he tries to look cool.
The Revenge of the Sith’s cinematic boss battle between Obi-Wan Kenobi and General Grievous on Utapau is teased in the trailer as Obi-Wan avoids one of Grievous' AoE attacks. Further, Kylo Ren is the butt-end of another joke as he wears a t-shirt that explicitly addresses his love of Darth Vader and flexes until he pops out of the shirt to reveal his muscular LEGO figure and start working out. Even ifcharacter customization is not included inLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, these moments will help to iterate on its characters in a fun way.
Funny enough, it looks like this shirtless version of Kylo will apparently be a skin that players can choose as gameplay shows shirtless Kylo attacking a shadow stormtrooper.
