The existence ofLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagahas beenknown for several months now, but little has been revealed about it, other than it’s a retelling of the first seven episodes, which were all adapted into video games, as well asThe Last JediandThe Rise of Skywalker. Finally, a new trailer for the game has been released, which shows brief glimpses from each of the episodes in LEGO game format.
YouTube channel WBGamesUK uploaded a trailer today showing off the aforementioned footage of probable cut-scenes based on each of the nine episodes. This includesThe Last JediandThe Rise of Skywalker, which have yet to be turned into LEGO games.

The trailer is fairly short, clocking in at just under a minute long. First displaying the iconicStar Wars"A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away," the trailer shortly goes on to show glimpses of LEGO versions of scenes from each of the films.
For the prequel trilogy, the trailer shows memorable clips ofDarth Maulstaring into the camera, Jango Fett landing beside a droideka, and a just-repaired Darth Vader. Meanwhile, for the original trilogy, viewers get clips of Princess Leia giving the recording calling for help to R2-D2, Han Solo being frozen in carbonite, and Luke Skywalker just above the Sarlacc pit inReturn of the Jedi.
Finally, the trailer also shows LEGO versions of clips from the sequel trilogy. First, viewers see a scene involving the Millennium Falcon fromThe Force Awakens, followed by two clips fromStar Warsmovies that have, thus far, had yet to be adapted into LEGO games. Particularly, viewers get to see a LEGO-fied scene of Luke’s confrontation with Kylo Ren at the end ofThe Last Jedi.As well, viewers are shown a LEGO version of a clip fromThe Rise of Skywalkertrailer where Rey dodges a TIE fighter by jumping over it.
Finally, the trailer shows Lando Calrissian piloting the Millennium Falcon. In traditional LEGO game fashion, he complains of some ship malfunction, which is promptly fixed by R2-D2 taking a LEGO piece with a picture of a battery on it and slamming it into a generator-like object.
Overall,LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagamay prove to be one of the biggestLEGOhits thus far. It may certainly be the most ambitious, spanning nine films, as opposed to the usual one to three or so. In any case, only its release will show whether its ambition pays off.
