There are plenty of hidden collectibles to find inLife is Strange. These optional photo opportunities are scattered about each episode, with some requiring Max to make specific decisions, or the chance to take the picture won’t appear.
There are 10 Photo collectibles to get inLife is Strange, Episode 4: Dark Room. Don’t worry if some were missed, as any episode can be repeated from the main menu in “Collectible Mode” to search for missed photo opportunities without affecting previous player choices. Each picture will pop its own Trophy/Achievement, and once all ten have been found, the “Shutterbug” Trophy/Achievement will also unlock.

Optional Photo Opportunity 1 - Chloe (Chloe’s House)
Once Max has returned from the alternate reality, stand behind Chloe to take the first optional photo inEpisode 4 ofLife is Strange. This will unlock the “Ambient” Trophy/Achievement.
Optional Photo Opportunity 2 - Bird Eggs (Chloe’s House)
Go downstairs to Chloe’s garage after taking the first picture, and head to the corner beside the garage door. Move the wooden plank out of the way to take the second optional photo of the bird eggs. Taking the picture will pop the “Time-Lapsed” Trophy/Achievement.
Players may discover very different states of David and Joyce’s relationship while examining the items around the house, depending on whatimportant choices they have made inLife is Strange.

Optional Photo Opportunity 3 - Cairn (Outside Dormitory)
While asking aboutNathan inLife is Strangeoutside the dormitory, keep to the left-hand side to locate the Cairn on the grass. Snap a picture to get the “Balance” Trophy/Achievement.
Optional Photo Opportunity 4 - Squirrel (Outside Dormitory)
After getting a photograph of the Cairn, go to Samuel sitting on the bench. Max can ask him about many topics, but make sure to pick the “Animals” and “Squirrels” dialogue options in order to get him to feed a squirrel.
Just like in previousphoto collectible opportunities inLife is Strange, Max must take a picture of the squirrel to unlock the “Rangefinder” Trophy/Achievement. Once Samuel has fed the squirrel, click the prompt on the food to feed another, and then take a photograph of the two eating together.

Optional Photo Opportunity 5 - Footprints (Boys' Dormitory)
Once inside the boys' dormitory, turn right and get close to the window. The “Photo” prompt will now appear for players to take a picture of the footprints outside and unlock the “Gamma Value” Trophy/Achievement.
Optional Photo Opportunity 6 - Beached Whale (Arcadia Bay Beach)
Before heading to Frank’s RV, get as close as possible to the whales on the beach. About halfway up the road, players will get a prompt to take an optional photo of a beached whale. Doing so will unlock the “Dioptric Power” Trophy/Achievement.
After this, Max and Chloe will speak to Frank about Nathan, and Rachel Amber’s disappearance. If playerstook the money in Episode 3 ofLife is Strange, Frank will be less hostile toward the pair, and easier to convert into an ally.

Optional Photo Opportunity 7 - Bird (Outside Barn)
After piecing the clues together in Chloe’s room, Max and Chloe will head to a seemingly abandoned farm. Opposite the metal sheet that needs to be moved to enter the building, is a bird. Max needs to take a photo of it to unlock the “Fisheye” Trophy/Achievement, but it will be scared away by her presence. Rewind time to bring the bird back while standing close to where it will perch. As soon as it returns, take the picture.
Optional Photo Opportunity 8 - Owl (Inside Barn)
Once Max has climbed to the top level in the barn, go to the very back of the platform to take the optional photograph of the owl and get the “Manually Exposed” Trophy/Achievement. Max and Chloe will stumble across a discovery soon after, and react slightly differently depending on ifKate was saved or not inLife is Strange.
Optional Photo Opportunity 9 - Justin (Swimming Pool Toilets)
Before heading into the VIP section of The End of The World Party at the swimming pool, turn left and enter the toilet area. Justin is standing in front of a mirror, and it looks like his bottom half is graffiti thanks to the positioning of the artwork in front of him. Take the ninthoptional photograph collectible inLife is Strangeto unlock the “Slideshow” Trophy/Achievement.
Optional Photo Opportunity 10 - Twin Moons (Swimming Pool)
Go back to the entrance of the Swimming Pool area and look up and to the right. Two ominous moons can be seen through the tall windows, and Max can now take a picture to pop the “Tripod” and “Shutterbug” Trophies/Achievements.
Finding the ten photo opportunities in every episode ofLife is Strangewill lead to avery easy Platinum Trophy, or full Gamerscore, as they are the only optional unlockables in the game.
