Marvel’s Avengersreleases tomorrow on PS4, Xbox One, and PC and tons of players are excited to get their hands on the full release. After getting a taste of the game in theMarvel’s Avengersopen betaplayers are excited to bash robots as their favorite Marvel heroes with friends.
However, players on PC can will get a bit more graphical fidelity fromMarvel’s Avengers. In fact, there is a special high resolution texture pack that players can download for the Steam version ofAvengersbefore the game launches.

As is the case with most AAA game releases on PC, the graphical fidelity of the PC versions of those games can be much stronger than consoles given players have the right specs. Crystal Dynamic’sMarvel’s Avengersis no exception to this either. Earlier this week,Intel announced a partnership withMarvel’s Avengersto improve graphical fidelity. However, players should also verify to downloadMarvel’s Avengershigh resolution texture pack to fully take advantage of the boosted performance.
As most fans looking forward to theAvengerson PC are aware, players canpreloadMarvel’s Avengerson Steamahead of the standard edition’s release tomorrow. However, players can also pre-download the high resolution texture pack right now as well. The texture pack is listed as DLC, so players want to find the game in their Steam Library and right click it to bring up “Properties.” Next, click the DLC tab at the top right of the “Properties” window and click the checkbox where it says “High Resolution Texture Pack” to begin installing it.
Crystal Dynamics has already come forward and said that DLC is planned forMarvel’s Avengers, so players will most likely make use of this menu again. Already, characters like Kate Bishop andBlack Panther are planned as DLCwith many more to follow as time goes on. Unfortunately, Spider-Man is still set to be a PS4-exclusive DLC character which has many fans on Xbox One and PC upset. Thankfully, it seems that Spider-Man will be the only platform-exclusive character added to the game as DLC.
Marvel’s Avengersis going to be a huge release for many players around the world. The game is already set to be one of thebiggest releases of September 2020. While some players came away from the handful of open betas forMarvel’s Avengerswith mixed feelings, there’s no doubt that the game is going to be a blast for players who just want to hang out with friends while playing games online. If Crystal Dynamics can capitalize on the social aspect of the game while quarantine is still in place it would surely do wonders for the game.
Marvel’s Avengerslaunches on PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One on September 4th 2020. The game will launch later this year on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
