Invasions Mode can be a bit of a grind forMortal Kombat 1players, particularly when tackled in a single sitting. Thankfully, among this seemingly endless repetition, players can find numerous distractions, from time trials to combo challenges. However, the most popular form of side content inMortal Kombat 1are Klues, which require players to complete an Invasions node while also meeting cryptic conditions.
The USIE Klue can be found in the Rampart Mesa and is tied to the Just Got Here node. Unlike some of the other Season 5 Klues, solving USIE is relatively straightforward, as the Klue’s name is a clear and obvious reference to a certainMortal Kombat 1Fatality. That said, newer players might not get this reference, in which case, the following guide should prove to be helpful.
How to Solve the USIE Klue in Mortal Kombat 1
To complete the USIE Klue, players will need toperform Johnny Cage’s Hollywood Walk of Pain Fatality, which can be done by pressing Forward, Back, Down, Back Punch (Triangle on PlayStation, Y on Xbox, or X on Switch) while standing at close range. If done correctly,Cage will proceed to slam the Raiden variant’s face into a Hollywood Walk of Fame starand then take an Usie using his smartphone. Upon their return to the map screen, players will see the nearby debris disappear, allowing them to travel west and gain access to the Klue chest.
USIE Klue Rewards
Completing the USIE Klue in Season 5 of Invasions will reward players with theFoul Ball Epic Talisman,Smoke’s Convective Flow Palette,Liu Kang’s Divine Charge Palette, and125 Seasonal Kredits. For those new to Invasions Mode, Seasonal Kredits can be used to purchase special Season of Storms-themed cosmetics fromMortal Kombat 1’s Seasonal Store. They’ll expire when the current season of Invasions comes to an end in June though, so players should make sure to spend them all before then.
