Dataminers have been digging through the latestMortal Kombat 11update files and finding a whole slew of exciting information for fans of the franchise. It’s now been discovered by dataminers thatMortal Kombat 11may not just have a second Kombat Pack, but a third, as there are a total of 42 character slots currently in the game.

Dataminers have also found evidence that could point to the identity of these potentialMortal Kombat 11DLC fighters. Evidence suggests thatAsh Williams fromArmy of Darknesscould be one, along with Fujin and Sheeva. The rest of the potentialMortal Kombat 11DLC characters remain a mystery at this point, though there is one other guest character that is strongly rumored to be coming to the game.

Mortal Kombat 11dataminers have found a character with the first three letters “ROB” in their name, which has led some to think thatRoboCop is coming to the game. This speculation seems to be due toMortal Kombat 11already having 80s movie characters like The Terminator in the game, and the fact that no pre-existingMortal Kombatcharacters have “rob” in their name. Others think that it’s just placeholder for one of the cyborg characters to come toMortal Kombat 11, like Cyrax and Sektor, as they already appear in the story mode.

If this leak is accurate andMortal Kombat 11is truly adding 11 more DLC characters, then that would imply that there’s at least two more Kombat Packs in store for fans of the fighting game.Mortal Kombat 11Kombat Pack 1consisted of six DLC characters, so the next two will apparently consist of five and six characters apiece.

Of course, it’s also possible that this leak is inaccurate andMortal Kombat 11isn’t getting 11 new DLC characters. Really fans won’t know for sure until NetherRealm itself decides to share more information about its future plans forMortal Kombat 11, and it’s hard to say when that may be. However,MK11game director Ed Boon has teased more surprisescoming this year, so it’s possible official announcements will come sooner rather than later.

With theMK11Spawn DLCnow available to the masses, there’s currently no announced new characters for the game. It will be interesting to see if NetherRealm decides to reveal new characters one at a time, or if it will reveal a full Kombat Pack 2.

Mortal Kombat 11is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.
