Glen Miley Collier reacted by sharing a gif file featuring Heard as Mera and captioned it with, “We need anAquaman 2poster with Mera.” Several netizens agreed, with @lauraslayed commenting, “Yes we are,” and @ivy writing, “No Mera, no money.” Dani Fethez also demanded that it’s time to release the Mera poster while seemingly criticizing the bromance betweenAquamanand Orm. “Give us Amber Heard,” Fethez added. Another user with X handle Venus Deathtrapshared a fan art ditchingAquamanand Orm for a solo photo of Mera.
The reaction from fans who love Heard’s portrayal of Mera is understandable because she’s been part of the previous posters. However, Heard’s absence in the newest poster is not unexpected.
