NieR Replicant, like any other JRPG, has many odd jobs for players to take on that can be completed to get different types of rewards. One of these side quests is called “The New Merchant in Town” and can be found in the town of Seafront. TheNieR ReplicantNPC is found in the bottom-right corner of the map on one of the boats docked in the water. He wants the player to bring him some materials, and these materials are: 10 bundles of wool, 5 lumps of natural rubber, and 10 goat hides.

How to Get Natural Rubber
Now, this list of items may seem difficult to find without any help, but one of the items on the list can actually be obtained very easily right in the town of Seafront. Players should immediately head on over to the Material Shopkeeper to buy the natural rubber. Each one will cost 700 Gold and the shop is located to the left of the Fishmonger. Natural rubber can also be found out in the field at gathering spots, but it’s much easier to get it via this method. Players can get extra gold by selling items that they don’t need for the moment.
How to Get Wool
Wool can be obtained from killing the sheep that litter the area of the Northern Plains, which is right outsidethe main character’s base village. This item is particularly rare, as there’s a small chance that players will get it, but if the sheep are all defeated, players can simply leave the area and come back. All of the sheep will be back in the area for the player to try again. Players should also keep an eye out for some goats in the Northern Plains as well. By killing them, players have a small chance of getting some goat hides, which they’ll need 10 of in order to finish up “The New Merchant In Town” quest.
How to Get Goat Hides
While there are some goats in the Northern Plains as previously mentioned, there are a couple of more on the eastern road, which is, of course, east of the central village. Goat hide is just as rare as wool, and players will need to get 10 of them, so prepare to take a bit of time gathering them all.
Once all items have finally been obtained to complete theNieR Replicantside quest, players should go back to the Seafront NPC. Once players speak to him, they’ll need to leave the town and then speak to him once again for the quest to be fully completed. Players will be reward with 10,000 Gold for their efforts. Not having enough Gold in their inventory can be a majormistake for first-timeNieR Replicantplayers.
