A game inspired byHamiltonis now available onRoblox, letting players fight their enemies with music from Lin-Manuel Miranda’s hit musical. A video published onHamilton’s YouTube channel gives a sneak peek of thisnewRobloxgame, calledHamilton Simulator. Alexander Hamilton, bearing the traits of Lin-Manuel Miranda, fights alongside other characters from the musical against various enemies. Players can create their own squad and select their favorite characters before heading toHamilton’s universe and defeating their foes with the power of music, all with soundtracks from the musical.
Each character from thisHamilton Robloxgame has a rarity level, seemingly ranging from Common to Mythical according to this trailer. The full roster includes 100 characters fromHamilton, such as Angelica Schuyler, Maria Reynolds, James Madison, and Alexander Hamilton’s son Philip. Players can spend the in-game currency or theirhard-earned Robuxto purchase new companions to add to their team, with a maximum of five active members in a squad. Each character deals a specific amount of damage, not by drawing swords on their enemies but by singing in tune with the others.
This isn’t the first timeHamiltonhas appeared in video games. AnAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsplayer recreated the entire first act ofHamiltonon their island, and while this feat is impressive, it didn’t let anyone else discover this universe and its music.
