The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventuresis theLegend of Zeldagame that needs a remake or remaster above all the rest. Nintendo has been regularly releasing brand-newLegend of Zeldagames since the 1980s, and it has also re-released, remastered, and remade a number of games in the series as well. Many fans are anticipatingSwitch ports forThe Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HDandThe Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, butFour Swords Adventuresshould be first in line for the re-release/remake/remaster treatment.

For those who aren’t familiar with the game,The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventureswas originally released in 2004 for the Nintendo GameCube. It was a follow-up toThe Legend of Zelda: Four Swords, a multiplayer-onlyZeldagame that was packed-in with the Game Boy Advance port ofThe Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventurestakes the concepts fromFour Swordsand expands them into a full-fledged video game.

This and the fact thatThe Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventureshas remainedtrapped on the Nintendo GameCubesince its release makes the game a prime candidate for a remake, remaster, or port. It’s one of the least accessibleZeldagames out of the entire main series, as most other entries have been ported, remastered, or remade so that they are more readily available on modern platforms.

BringingFour Swords Adventuresto the Nintendo Switch would also give more players the opportunity to actually play the co-op and get the most out of the game. A potentialonline modewould also go a long way, opening the door for even moreLegend of Zeldafans to play the game how it was meant to be played.
