The new Ramattra Poseidon skin has blue toes and nails as shown by a picture shared on the officialOverwatch 2Twitter account. The Poseidon hero skin was introduced inOverwatch 2’s Season 2, which has an ancient Greek Mythology theme.Ramattra is an omnic robotdual-form tank hero who uses his purple staff in battle in order to damage his enemies in medium-range combat. He can also transform into a Nemesis form for a short time, which increases his size as well as his armor and movement speed, and makes him a dangerous threat at close range. With the most recentOverwatch 2special event, Battle for Olympus, Blizzard continued Season 2’s ancient Greek trend.RELATED:Overwatch 2’s Minotaur Reinhardt Skin Has an Emote BugPoseidon, the Greek god of the seas, is the obvious inspiration for Ramattra’s latest skin, which definitely has an eye-catching design. The skin completely transforms Ramattra from a mechanical robot into a blue humanoid-like warrior. The skin even features a giant golden trident that unfortunately can only be seen while performing a specific in-game emote. His Nemesis form also shows off a pair of purple octopus-like tentacles coming out of his back. WhileRamattra’s normal appearancedepicts his feet as being mechanical with razor-sharp claws, Blizzard chose to add human-like feet to his new mythical-based skin. The officialOverwatchTwitter page uploaded a picture of the aforementioned feet and requested fans’ opinions.
The tweet has already received a flurry of responses, with many players expressing their righteous indignation. Most Reddit users wanted the post deleted, while others decided to make fun of the photo by commenting all sorts of puns, such as “Nailed it” or “Wish I didn’t sea this.” However, perhaps the most hilarious response came from the Esports Gaming League, who posted a simple photo depictingthe infamous Ghost Gaze meme, which is a popular reaction used by people when they want to express their dissatisfaction with a certain topic. Other than that, there was a small portion of fans who gave their approval for the Poseidon skin design.
It is worth mentioning that players who are traumatized by the design of the Ramattra Poseidon skin still have the opportunity to grab several other Olympus-themed skins, such as the Mythic Zeus Junker Queen skin or the Legendary Winged Victory Mercy skin. The Battle for Olympus eventwill end on January 19, while Season 2 is currently estimated to last until July 05, 2025.
