Summary
Atlus has revealed more information about the second kingdom that players will find inPersona 5 Tactica. InPersona 5 Tactica, the Phantom Thieves find themselves on another adventure through the Metaverse. This time they’re transported to a strange new world inspired by the French Revolution, withTacticaalso introducing two new characters: Erina and Toshiro. A new trailer from Atlus gives a brief overview of these new places the Phantom Thieves will fight through.
This newPersona 5 Tacticatrailer shows off a kingdom led by the wedding-themed ruler named Marie who has brainwashed some of the other thieves. It also shows off some of the cutscenes where the Phantom Thieves and Erina are fighting against Marie, along with a quick look at her boss fight. After Marie is defeated, the Phantoms are transported to yet another kingdom, this time one inspired by mid-1800s Japan.

This kingdom is ruled by a man named Yoshiki, who initially appears to be a benevolent person in the image of Buddha, though it hides his true rage-filled nature that literally splits apart when engaging in battle. The citizens of Yoshiki’s kingdom are constantly under watch from his security cameras and are forced into physical labor if they stand against him. to save its citizens, all themembers of the Phantom Thievesdisguise themselves as ninjas, geishas, and samurai, with one screenshot showing them partying in kimonos.
A little bit of Toshiro’s character is shown off in this trailer too. Toshiro is an ordinary citizen that Erina, Joker, and Morgana rescue from Marie’s clutches after finding him in a dungeon cell. He is a member of the Diet government body, and tries to reason with Yoshiki’s forces to little success, showing how out-of-depth he is with the Metaverse. TheiconicPersona 5location of Leblanchas also been carried over to this new Kingdom, much to the shock of all the Phantom Thieves present, where it also has taken on a feudal Japanese look.
The trailer ends on a quick teaser of the “Repaint Your Heart” DLC pack, which confirms thatGoro Akechi and Kasumi Yoshizawa will be playable inPersona 5 Tactica. This scenario sees the three joining forces to investigate a strange set of graffiti that has been appearing around Tokyo, with one also being a painting of Arsene. Based on a screenshot of the main menu, the DLC can be played separately from the main story ofTactica.
Persona 5 Tacticawill launch November 17 for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
