They include the Nurse Ball, Training Ball, Thermos Ball, Lotto Ball, Temp Ball, and Suffer Ball. All six offer unique bonuses, like the Nurse Ball healing a player’s Pokemon when they walk, or the Temp Ball allowing a player to swap out a Pokemon once caught into a different ball of their choosing. The Thermos Ball increases the chance of capture of Fire and Ice-type Pokemon by 3.5x, and the Suffer Ball gives a 2x to 3x boost on capturing poisoned, burned, and/or confused Pokemon. The Lotto Ball gives a random chance entirely, while the Training Ball doesn’t offer a capture bonus, but boosts the caught Pokemon’s EVs 2x once caught.
Pokemon Fans Explore Unique Poke Ball Designs
Players have been intrigued and curious about the designs. Fans seemed particularly interested in the Lotto Ball’s randomized mechanic, and one thought that the Suffer Ball would be a great idea when a Pokemon is badly enfeebled and on the verge of death, butattempts at captures with other Poke Balls keep failing. However, many fans suggested that the Nurse Ball needs tweaking, as one HP recovered for every thousand steps is simply impractical and not useful in its current state. Increasing the HP recovered or changing the mechanic to something like healing extra outside of battle were suggested to improve upon it.
Overall, the designs are interesting ones, and this isn’t the first time thatAxoKnight6 has come up with new Poke Ball ideasto share with fellow fans. They previously created alternate designs like the Dubious Ball or Magnet Ball, which also intrigued players. Perhaps they’ll come out with a third set in the future if they’re feeling inspired.
