This unit doesn’t do much that other units can’t do, but it does it very well which plays into Red as a character. Red, in canon, is a Pokemon master with no gimmicks up his sleeve other than just being an excellent trainer.

A couple of months prior to the third-anniversary update, Ash from thePokemonanime series was added to the game. Then, duringa Pokemon Presents broadcast, the trailer for the three-year anniversary teased the possibility of Red and Ash battling. This is a battle that is 25 years in the making and had fans wondering what the clash could look like, with both trainers having similar Pokemon.
With the update out, players have the opportunity to seewho is the better Pokemon trainer between Red and Ash. Both characters have a Pikachu and have different strengths and weaknesses based on their trainers. Having Red finally collide with Ash is something that players only dreamed of beforePokemon Masters EX.
