There is tons of stuff for players to purchase inPokemon Scarlet & Violet. Although players are fairlylimited in their clothing choicesfor tops and bottoms, they will have an abundance of accessories to choose from, including glasses, backpacks, gloves, shoes, socks, and even Rotom Phone cases. There is a solid amount of customization to be found throughout the release and playerswill need some serious funds to keep upwith all the Pokeballs, potions, and other items they can buy from the many shops scattered throughout Paldea.

Although players can make some pretty easy money by simply collecting all of the items they find in the overworld, one of the best ways to increase their cashflow is to grab the Amulet Coin. This item will greatly boost the cash that players gain from defeating Trainers. By having a Pokemon hold it (and compete in the battle at least once), players will see their prize money doubled. This can go a long way, especially asplayers take on harder Gymsand Trainer battles found later in the game.

How To Get The Amulet Coin In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

To get the Amulet Coin, players need to defeat five trainers in the West Province (Area Three) and then speak to the Pokemon League representative located near the Medali (East) Poke Center. The easiest way to do this is to start from theMedali (East) Poke Centerand then head up the road that stretches Northeast out of town, toward the Southwestern base of Glaseado Mountain. Along this path, players should find approximately 4 Trainers (some are slightly off the path, standing in the grass) that they can battle. All players need to do is defeat five total trainers found anywhere in West Province (Area Three). Once they do this and then return to the Pokemon League rep found at the Medali (East) Poke Center they will receive the Amulet Coin.

Players can then give this coin to one of their Pokemon, and receive double the prize money when scoring a victory on their opponent. It’s important to note that the Pokemon that holds the Amulet Coin must engage in battle. Because of this, it’s smart to give it to the player’s lead Pokemon. Once the Lead Pokemon is tossed into battle, it can then be swapped out for any other Pokemon. It simply needs to be involved in the battle at any point.
